Sheyma's music is inspired by influences from different regions of morocco such as Atlas,Moroccan Chaabi and Gnawa.While her vocals are connected to traditions of Arabic music (to which she takes an unconventional approach), the structures of the songs are very remote from its codes, and take in elements from pop, folk and contemporary Western electronics.
