Jo Loui and the band was formed in 2021 in Arnhem, Netherlands. Coming from different musical backgrounds, the band plays acoustic pop music influenced by the traditional Cypriot melodies and rhythms. Their first album includes songs in English and Greek, drawing inspiration from personal and societal struggles like racism, homophobia and mental health.
